Survey

A class in grade 12, was asked to fill out a survey on animal abuse. The questions that were asked were the following.
  1. Do you believe cosmetics should be tested on animals?
  2. What animal do you think is the most tested on?
  3. Do you think it's right animals are teasted on instead of human's?
  4. Do you care about animal cruelty?
  5. If you saw someone abuseing an animal would you say, or do something?
  6. Have you ever abused an animal?
  7. If you see a sick or beaten up animal do you feel bad or simply walk by, and feel no guilt?
The results were reported, and about 95% of students said its wrong that animals are tested on. The other 5% said its okay to test cosmetics on animals. Now how is this okay, if we look at the past native society they taught their people to respect and love the animals, even when hunting them they still gave respect and thanks to the environment, and now with recent technology we are just getting farther away from whats really important in life.
The next question was answered and the teen class thought that the most tested animal was the monkey. Proven by resent studies, its actually the house pet's that get tested on the most such as the, rat and the dog. Since we all have a special companion, this is sad thinking that our everyday loved one could be that animal that was ominous.
Question number one got the same results as this following question number three. It was difficult to answer seeing as though, in some people's eye's humans have more equality than the animals do, for we are at the top of the food chain, and animals are not. To my surprise the majority of the class didn't have that selfishness, and found the strength to say its not fair.
The answer to question number 4 was a breeze, for about 98% of the class claimed yes, they care about animal cruelty.
About 89% of the students said that they would say something if they saw the crime of animal abuse. That means that a lot of students would just walk by speechless. It's because people are to afraid to step out of their comfort zone, because it may cause them harm or trouble. It's frighting sometimes to think that people are selfish enough to just walk by like nothings happening, to walk around speechless. God gave us a voice so we should use it.
All the students agreed to never abusing an animal. Which is a very good sign in teens society today. Some people think its funny watching something weaker than them suffer, but the only thing it proves is immaturity. It was seen that people who have abused animal's before are known to be in a abusive relationship, or show another form of violence threw the human race.
This question is very similar to question number five. The results were very much alike and some students would rather just walk by and feel no guilt. But the upside of this is that the majority of students would speak up and feel bad if they saw something bad happen to an animal.

These were the results of a college english grade 12 class.
Thanks for doing the survey.
